Webster says “conventional” means conforming to accepted standards and taste. I doubt the Conventions will be conventional. But they will be fun.

Be the one to report the highest verified count of Biden punctuating his eloquence with some variation of “I’m not kidding” , “I really mean it”, or “I am not being facetious”. Biden is given to this. Count the times between now and Nov 4th that you hear it. Any variation counts. The winner gets a politician’s promise of a bag of Carter’s Own Peanuts.

Will the far Left be kept in the same holding cells as the far Right? Will all the balloons in the Convention Hall be blue in Denver and all Red in Minnesota? Why do some say the Republican affair will be in Minneapolis when it is to be in St Paul?
I presume the Democratic Convention, about to start in minutes, will begin with the National Anthem. Will Barack hold his hand over his heart? Will Michelle stand?
