We Lost. I am leaving the country, today !!
But I will be back Nov 15th following the completion of a family celebration in Europe. Next Post will be after the 15th.
For reading I am bringing "How Democrocies Perish" writen by French intellectual Jean Francois Revel.
Circa 1984 Revel journeyed to the US for the first time, fully expecting to find the country as depicted in all his readings. His image was so shattered by exposure to reality that he wound up writing a book totally diferrent the from the scathing indictment he had planned.
I will write a review if anyone asks for it.
